Terrain Vague

is the definition that describes an “interstitial” space/place situated within a continuous landscape/territory.

Such a space/place is detached from its microtoponymic designation. It is empty/ vague/uncultivated/free.

Within the broader concept of the “Circular Journey,” there exists a precise point/place that is difficult to plan, where the act of moving forward comes to an end and the return begins.

For me, that point/place is the “Terrain Vague.” And it is at that point/place that my observation reaches its culmination. Then the return begins again, and the journey is completed. The purpose of the journey is the work of art.
